Creativity and Imagination

We consider studying and working with Art and Culture

as an important aspect in the forming of a child’s personality.

Creativity and imagination play a major part in school learning. Learning about teamwork,

self-belief and flexibility can be aided by work on artistic projects.

Children with imagination find it easier to find solutions to problems and are not so easily discouraged.

In order to allow the pupil’s creativity to flourish, we often invite artists into our school to paint,

sing or dance with the children. We take our classes to book presentations, exhibitions and museums.

We also attend theatres and concerts.

It is important to us that children learn from the start that creativity and imagination are an important enrichment of life.
